Alright, let the race begin...AGAIN! Matthew, Dad(Russ) and myself(Anna) started today and will continue until March 14th, 2010. The boys are determined (more so Matthew) to take down the reigning champ, however I'm not sure they know what they have coming because I will NOT lose to a boy!!! First Percentage Post

This will mark the very first percentage post of the new competition. We all know how this works so not much needs to be said...good luck to all!

Winner & the start of a new competition

The winner of the biggest loser competition with a total percentage weight loss of 14.7% was me...Anna. Today is also the day that you should have weighed to see what your starting weight would be for the new competition. Next week, Saturday, May 16th (yes, Bethany I know that is your birthday) will be our FIRST weigh in of the new competition. There will be 16 weeks in this competition as well, the last weigh in being on Saturday, August 29th. Good luck all in this next go around. The rules are still the same except now we are down to three, Matthew, Russ(dad), and myself. The competition will start over so everyone has a fresh start, all percentages are at 0.

Okay...ONE more week to go. Hopefully you all haven't just given up this close to the end. It is hard to believe that 16 weeks have flown by as quick as they have. I hope all of you are proud of how far you have not only come but will continue to go post competition.

Ninth Percentage Post

We have officially passed the halfway mark. Congratulations to everyone for making it this far! We need to start throwing some ideas together for what we want to do for our "big reveal." I know that this is near Cassie's graduation from ETBU, so that is a pretty big reveal for her. But I am not sure what the others would like to do. Just give me some ideas. This is a big deal for us so we should celebrate like it is!

Seventh Percentage Post

Thanks so much mom for posting last week while the Quick family and myself were roughing it RV style. We had a great time taking Ava hiking and to the Tyler zoo. After all of our many trips to the zoo, Ava has finally reached the point where she knows what is going on around her. And now on to the most important part. We have approximately 10 weeks left in our competition. Keep working hard and hopefully you are starting to feel better!

I don't know about y'all, but this week I hope was my hardest. I look forward to seeing your results. So far the pot is at $34.00. When Cassie puts her money in (hint hint nudge nudge) it will be up to $44.00 + what this weeks "smallest" loser puts in. And by the way, last week I don't know if any of you noticed but the way I listed the names was in order of greatest to least, which I must say I didn't mean to happen, I listed them in alphabetical order and I hope that if you see my percentage lost this week, that you will ALL be above that. I hope you are continuing to see progress and pushing forward to May 1st!

First Percentage Post

This marks the first percentage post of our competition. I am going to post and then you may all post your totals under my name in the same format. I will contact the "smallest loser" to let them know how much they must contribute to our fund. Feel free to make any comments on how the first week went for you and how you are feeling, but please write your name under it so we know who said what. I will start, I have to say that I hope I do as well this week every other week. Although Matthew and I talked about it and we both agreed that this weeks data might be a little skewed due to the fact that the night before some of us gorged, as well as the fact that this weeks weigh in is 10 days and not 7. The race is on...

Today marks the beginning of the competition. I hope you have all put some thought into what your personal goals will be and what the course will be that you use use to attain those goals. This is going to be a great journey and I myself can't wait to see the end results.
